A kind of nonmetallic ore whose main constituent is calcium sulfate. There are mainly two kinds of minerals: gypsum and anhydrite. Its paragenetic minerals mainly include halite, sylvine and carnallite, etc. The general industrial grade: fibriform gypsum ores(containing calcium sulfate dihydrate): 95% and stratiform gypsum ores(containing calcium sulfate dihydrate and calcium sulfate):55%.
In addition to building materials and cement raw materials, gypsum can also be used to many other fields such as making sulfuric acid, rubber, plastics industry, fertilizer, pesticide, paint, textile industry, foodstuff, medicine, daily chemical products, arts and crafts and culture and education. Gypsum is divided into raw gypsum and plaster of Paris. Raw gypsum will be transformed into plaster of Paris after superfine raw gypsum power is heated. Plaster of Paris will solidify when meeting water. This is applicable to fixation of fractured limbs, artware, mould, etc.
3. Production Line of Gypsum Powder Grinding :
Crushing and grinding are the two core stages.
1. Crushing: Gypsum is transported into the crusher by the feeder. The jaw crusher crushes large-sized gypsum into smaller lumps for further processing. According to different sizes of raw materials and expectation of production, different crushers are utilized. PE series jaw crushers, hammer crushers and impact crushers are mostly used in crushing. Dust collectors are also needed for environmental production.
2. Transport of Materials
The crushed gypsum is carried to the storage silo by the elevator for standby. Whether to further process the materials depends on the actual needs.
3. Grinding
The crushed gypsum is conveyed into the Raymond mill evenly by the magnetic vibrating feeder for grinding. Then the powder is blown out by the blast blower and enters into the analytical engine for grinding. Afterwards, the powder with the required fineness enters into the cyclone collector and is unloaded through the powder discharge pipes, the finished products. Finally the products are sent to the next procedure for calcination by the spiral conveyor. This is a closed circulation system. The bag type dust collector connected to the pipes between the cyclone collector and blast blower helps to remove the dust from air, keeping the environment clean. The particle size is changed to -80 +120mesh from 0-30mm after the processing.
The equipment used here are elevator, storage silo, vibrating feeder, grinding mill, spiral conveyor and bag type dust collector, etc. The grinding mill, high strength pulverizer and Raymond pulverizer are our newest patented product which is equipped with powder selecting device inside the machine, making it unnecessary to use external powder selecting machines. That makes the process simpler.
