Coal

1. Brief Introduction. Coal is a kind of combustible black or brownish black sedimentary rock that forms in the coal seams or rock formations, which is divided into lignite, anthracite, bituminous coal, etc.

2. Applications: Coal is mainly applicable to thermal power, steel industry, chemical industry and building materials, during which thermal power is the first majority coal-consuming industry, accounting for 50% of coal consumption. Thermal power is what we commonly call electricity-coal and steam coal. The coal consumed in steel industry is primarily the cocking coal, which turns into coke after chemical treatment. Coke works as the fuel and reductant during smelting process. The coal consumption in steel industry accounts for 17%-18% of the total demand. Anthracite is mainly used as a industry chemical to produce primary chemicals like methanol in chemical industry. Coal consumption accounts for about 7% in chemical industry and 14%-15% in building materials.

3. Equipment Needed in Coal Processing

Coal is processed into different sizes to meet various requirements. The grain sizes are 0-25mm, 8-25mm, 6-25mm and 0-25mm , respectively according to different places it is used in: gas stove, steam locomotive, industrial furnace and coal plant. The equipment needed are divided into two types: coal crushers and coal grinding mills. The former includes various crushers like jaw crushers, hammer crushers, impact crushers and cone crushers. The later includes ball mills, Raymond mill, High Strength Grinding Mill, High Pressure Micro Powder Mill, Tricyclic Medium-Speed Micro powder Mill.

Jaw crushers manufactured by our company are mainly used as coarse crushers and cone crushers are applied to secondary crushing. Ball mills and Raymond mills are utilized in grinding works. We also manufacture other ancillary equipment such as vibrating feeders, vibrating screens and belt conveyors. The crushers have advantages of simple structure, large capacity, low cost and convenient maintenance.
